Nicholas Nyhof is a Toronto-based Creative Producer and founder of Nyhof Entertainment. He currently works freelance supporting projects through scripted content development, business affairs, and production logistics.

Nicholas has worked in Business Affairs on Marvel Studios TV series Hawkeye and Secret Invasion to support the tax credits and certification process, while also contributing to project closure on feature films The Desperate Hour and Greenland.

In 2023, Nicholas was selected as a Film Independent Fellow through the annual Fast Track Finance Market and received the Sloan grant for continued development of his nuclear thriller, Silo, written by Cole Smith.

Nicholas holds an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University, where he was awarded the 2022 Michael Hausman Producing Award for his exceptional ability and promise in the field of film producing. During his time at Columbia, he took on internships in development at Blumhouse Productions and Alaz Film where he honed his skills in identifying, refining, and breathing life to scripted stories, supporting executive decision-making, and collaborating with writers to deliver the best possible content.

As an independent producer, he is actively developing a diverse slate of projects across film and television that aim to captivate audiences within Canada, and on the world stage.
